STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL...

Ram and Shyam worked together in the same office. Ram was head of department. Shyam worked under Ram. Both of them had claims of innovative work in the organisation.

Ram was loved by management men. Shyam too had some support of a few persons.

Ram. He was a familiar figure in the organisation. His favourite pastime was serving top management men. While these top managers visited this region, he made available all sincere services to them. Took them to famous temples in the area. He met them at places where they stayed and entertained them with food brought from home. A variety of such novel services was given to them. And when they returned, gave choicest things as presentation spending office money.

Shyam. He too had equal claims. He too served the organisation. It was his favourite pastime to conduct research in work reorganisation methods. His concern was to increase quantum of work by introducing work reorganisation. He did introduce some schemes in some of the offices. Seminars were conducted in which top management experts in the area participated.

Both served the organisation.

Ram was a total success.

And Shyam struggled to survive.
