He was Mr. Singh, an IA&AS man. My boss in the Planning Department had a talk with him. Immediately my boss called me to his cabin. He asked me to go to Mr. Singh and bring a paper which Mr. Singh was waiting to hand over.
I went to him and promptly brought the paper. But even before I reached back, there was a telephone call to my boss from Mr. Singh. It was a complaint. Mr. Singh told my boss: "your man barged into my cabin!"
Since Mr. Singh was waiting for me, I could not then anticipate the formality of saying "May I come in sir", etc.
